As most artists, we are here for the purpose to create - we can be down to nothing and still have so much inside that is untapped - for myself, this is usually music, words and the songs. Realistically we are not all fortunate enough to dedicate our time to this alone. And sometimes this can become frustrating but the balancing of it all is usually where the best songs come from. It's not the perfect life which culminates the best tunes! And a lot of artists get that. And for me personally, it has never necessarily been about the money (although it sure as hell helps with the process). My journey with music and healing has been a long one. There has been much joy, sadness, frustration and much freedom attained through being a singer songwriter. And I will always be grateful to the amazing musicians who have become good friends  I have worked with  over the years.  I have learnt much and continue to learn and grow as a musician and songwriter.  They are the ones who sit with me and arrange my songs to give them their final wings.

Featuring Glenn Skarratt on Mandolin and Alexander Keller on Bass Guitar & Cello

With a love of sunflowers, music, kind hearts and the freedom to express herself as a songwriter,  the festival circuit is where Linda Mizzi truly comes into her own. As a singer songwriter based in her home town of Katoomba, she is blessed to be surrounded by so many like minded artists and musicians.  Linda is proud to bring 'The Linda Mizzi Trio' to all, featuring Glenn Skarratt on Mandolin, and Alex Keller on Bass guitar.  With handpicked songs written and arranged together - there is a focus on getting a message across to the listener gently but firmly - having reformed after four years, this collaboration is a strong one, and one to watch.
